The Green Shift Festival is set to kick off in the picturesque city of Monaco, France, offering an incredible lineup of events that will leave you inspired and ready to take action.

Hosted on the stunning Promenade du Larvotto, just a stone’s throw away from the azure Mediterranean Sea, this four-day festival is a collaborative effort between renowned organizations such as the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the Carmignac Foundation, Imagine 2050, Time for the Ocean, Agir pour le Vivant, and the Académie Monégasque de la Mer.

The Green Shift Festival aims to spark creativity and ignite collective minds and hearts to imagine a resilient, conscious, and more inclusive way of living together. By fostering open discussions through thought-provoking performances, insightful roundtables, and captivating short films, this event encourages participants to explore alternative narratives and collectively shape a more sustainable society.

Olivier Wenden, Vice-President and CEO of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, highlights the festival’s goal to inspire change and build new narratives: “Science plays a vital role in addressing environmental challenges. However, we need more than scientific expertise to trigger real action. The Green Shift Festival recognizes the power of art, creation, and emotion in generating commitment and propelling us towards a desirable future.”

These inspiring individuals will challenge your perspectives and present fresh avenues for reflection on ecological issues. Through artistic expressions such as music, documentaries, performances, and live readings, they will bring to life the challenges we face and pave the way for new stories of commitment.

The festival’s program has been thoughtfully curated to engage attendees in a holistic and multidisciplinary approach. As the world grapples with pressing environmental concerns, The Green Shift Festival recognizes that change is not only necessary but also desirable. By incorporating diverse forms of language and expression, it provides a platform for collective learning, inviting attendees to actively participate in shaping our shared future and shift the narrative surrounding sustainability from obligation to aspiration.
